Compressors Models

Turbo Pump Models
A turbomolecular (turbo) pump is a high-vacuum pump designed to remove gas molecules from a vacuum system by imparting momentum to them using rapidly rotating blades. Inside the pump, a stack of precisely angled rotor and stator stages spins at extremely high speeds so that gas molecules entering the pump collide with the moving blades and are driven downward in the direction of the exhaust. Turbo pumps cannot exhaust directly to atmospheric pressure, so they are always backed by a roughing or backing pump, which removes the gas expelled from the turbo pump and maintains proper operating conditions.
